Hyatt doesn't do direct member-to-member referral perks, which is annoying. What people actually do is use the Chase World of Hyatt credit card referral links instead. If you just need to share rewards with someone, use Hyatt’s paper Point Combining form. It’s clunky and takes about a week via email, but transfers are free.
On Hyatt's search bar, open the "Special Rates" dropdown and choose "Corporate or Group Code." Don't just book blindly though—double-check the standard member rate first, since it's sometimes cheaper. Also heads up: front desks actually check corporate IDs or business cards for these at check-in now, especially at nicer properties.
Hyatt doesn't really do sitewide coupon codes. What you want to do is log into your free World of Hyatt account first; that immediately unlocks member rates. Otherwise, check the "Special Rates" dropdown at checkout for AAA or AARP. If cash rates are insane, transfer Chase UR points instead. The redemption value is usually way better.
Standard Hyatt rates usually let you cancel penalty-free up to 24–48 hours before check-in, but non-refundable Member Advance Purchase rates won't budge. If you're stuck inside the cancellation window, don't use the app. Call the actual front desk directly—not corporate. Front desk managers can easily waive that first-night penalty if you're nice about it.
